About the Festival...

Rhythm on the Rails is an annual two-day spring festival celebrating the heritage and culture of Clinton, South Carolina. It will be held May 19 and 20 in historic downtown Clinton and will include live music, a BBQ competition sanctioned by the Southern Barbecue Network, games, rides, vendors, and plenty of shopping. Music, food, family fun, and Clinton’s railroad heritage all rolled together to create a great weekend. Whether you're competing in the BBQ competition or just looking to spend the day having fun, there's something for everyone at Rhythm on the Rails!

Registration is currently open until April 19 for vendors and BBQ Competition teams.

Festivities this year will include Rhythm of the Arts - a presentation by Laurens School District 56 of the fine arts in all District 56 schools and the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce will host Heritage Hype with the goal of promoting all of the tourism related aspects of Laurens County, Rhythm on the Rails serves as the backdrop for this exciting event. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience what makes Laurens County SIMPLY REVOLUTIONARY!
